Quick help

Reminders are not arriving+
  • Open iPhone Settings > Notifications > Pulp and make sure Allow Notifications is enabled.
  • Check that Focus Mode or Do Not Disturb is not silencing the app.
  • Open Pulp, tap your avatar to open Profile, then Notifications, and check that Card of the day, Moons and holidays, or the other notes you want are on. Reminders you set on an entry or a calendar day are a Premium feature.
  • If they still do not arrive, restart your iPhone and open the app again.
Where are my past readings?+

Readings, notes, photos, and voice notes are stored on your device. If you previously signed in and sync completed, sign in with the same Apple or Google account to retrieve the synced records. Unsynced local records may be lost when the app is deleted or the device is lost. Records removed through account deletion cannot be restored by signing in again.

How does sync work?+

Your journal lives on your iPhone. Sign in with Apple or Google in Profile and a copy, including photos and voice notes, is kept in your account, so the same journal opens on another iPhone signed in to the same account. The copy is sent over an encrypted connection but is not end-to-end encrypted. Notes on cards and favourite cards and spreads stay on the device and are not synced.

What does Premium include, and how is it sold?+

Premium adds more spreads, lenses, voice notes, new reminders, links between entries, and the full story of each card. It is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions may start with a free trial (currently 3 days); the App Store shows the trial before you subscribe, and you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. Voice notes and reminders you already made stay after Premium ends.

Restoring purchases+

Open Premium from Profile and tap Restore purchases at the bottom of the page. Use the same Apple ID you bought Premium with.

How to manage or cancel a subscription+

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds+

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. Use Apple's official refund page to request one.

How do I delete my account?+

Open Profile and tap Delete account (shown while you are signed in). This removes your account and synced journal from our servers and erases the journal on that iPhone. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel an App Store subscription.

How do I turn off analytics?+

Open Profile > Privacy > Help improve the app and turn off Count app actions. This stops analytics on that iPhone. Analytics never include what you write, your cards, photos, or voice notes. See the Privacy Policy for what is counted.

Is Pulp fortune telling or advice?+

No. Pulp is a reflection and journaling app. It does not predict the future and does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
