Little white book
Tarot glossary · also LWB, guidebook
The little white book, or LWB, is the leaflet that comes in the box with most mass-produced tarot decks. It usually gives a line or two for each card, upright and sometimes reversed, plus one or two spreads, and is often printed in several languages. Readers use the name for any short in-box guide, even when it is no longer small or white; some modern decks come with a full guidebook instead. An LWB is a quick reference, not a full account of a deck, and its meanings may be brief to the point of vagueness. See how to choose a tarot deck.
