The twenty-two Hebrew-letter correspondences

Golden Dawn teaching paired the twenty-two trumps with the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The letters were not printed as card titles. They belonged to a larger occult table. That table also connected tarot with elements, planets, zodiac signs, and the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. RWS follows this order. Later systems sometimes disagree with it.
